This blank white papier mache (not plastic) eye mask is brilliant for using with Friendly Plastic. You can also of course cover the mask with other mediums, for example by painting and adding your own embellishments. The mask comes with elastic to go around the head - although you could easily change this for ribbon if you prefer. Alternatively decorate the mask to make an attractive wall decoration. You can cover the mask entirely with Friendly Plastic - it adheres to the mask easily with your heat gun (see the additonal photo of the blue mask). Alternatively the additional example photos show masks which have been made using Alcohol Inks and Friendly Plastic. You firstly need to prime the mask well with a weak PVA solution (preferably 2 coats). Allow to dry completely. You can then either use Alcohol Inks to colour the mask and then add Friendly Plastic embellishments - see the photo of the pink mask. Alternatively add the Friendly Plastic to the primed mask, rubber stamp to add texture, and then colour the whole with Alcohol Inks (see the photos of the bronze and red mask).
The width of the mask is 20cm (8") by 8cm (3") deep.
